Mary Hutslar Obituary

Mary Alice (Foster) Hutslar, 87, of Corydon, Indiana formerly of Marengo, Indiana died on September 28, 2023 at her residence.  She was born on September 7, 1936 in Milltown, Indiana to the late Edgar Cleon and Iva M. (Money) Foster.

 

She was a former seamstress at the former M. Fines Shirt Factory in New Albany, Indiana.  She was of the Christian Faith and enjoyed watching games shows and the Golden Girls.  She also loved shopping and dining out with her family.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Knoeful Hutslar; daughter, Karen Carter Bary; and siblings:  Ruby, Rose, Louise, Raymond, and Homer.

 

She is survived by her grandchildren:  Christina L. Carter and Shereen Carter; and great-grandchildren:  Rheahnna Allen, Austin Nolot, Cali Nolot, Landon Callahan, and Reese Carver.

 

Funeral services will be on Monday, October 2, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana.  Cremation will follow and the interment will take place in the Marengo Cemetery at a later date.

 

Visitation will be on Monday from 2:00 p.m. until time of the service at the funeral home.

 

Bro. Bruce Hawkins will officiate the service.
