Mary Etta Knight

Mary Etta Knight, 77, of Paoli, Indiana died on February 23, 2024 at her residence.  Mary Etta was born on September 3, 1946 in East St. Louis, Illinois to the late Samuel O. and Maude Lucille (Jones) Knight.

Mary Etta was a retired social worker at Dunn Memorial Hospital in Bedford, Indiana and later for Fresenius Dialysis.  She was an honorary Captain of the Belle of Louisville and loved steamboats.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a niece, Marilyn Faust; and a great niece who was like a daughter, Jennifer Knight.

She is survived by her sister, Peggy A. Nichol of English, Indiana; a granddaughter Beth Knight of Detroit, Michigan; and great grandchildren, Maddox, Melody, and Mason.

Funeral services will be on Thursday, February 29, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana.  Interment will follow in the El Bethel Cemetery near Milltown, Indiana.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am until time of the service at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. David Wilkins will officiate the service.
