Mary Lee (Merrilees) Stutzman

Mary Lee (Merrilees) Stutzman, 77, of Leavenworth, Indiana died on November 19, 2023 at Todd-Dickey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.  Mary was born on August 6, 1946 in Beechwood, Indiana to the late Thomas and Sarah Pauline (Walls) Merrilees.

Mary was a former secretary for Keller Manufacturing, USDA Farm Services and a homemaker.

She was a member of the Crawford County Church of Christ, former President of the Leavenworth Senior Citizens, and a former board member of Hoosier Uplands.

Mary was survived by her husband, George F. Stutzman of Leavenworth, Indiana; her son, Adam C. Stutzman (Jill) of Leavenworth, Indiana; daughters, Tracey Eckert of Leavenworth, Indiana and Rebecca Stapleton (Heath) of Dallas, Texas; sisters, Sharlotte Coleman (Marvin) of Leavenworth, Indiana and Patricia Wade of Corydon, Indiana; and grandchildren:  Mackenzie Hill-Smith, Sammy Jo Stutzman, William Stapleton, Morgan Stutzman, Sarah Stutzman, and Elizabeth Stapleton. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, John Merrilees.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at 11:00 am at the Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana.  Interment will follow in the Leavenworth Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be on Friday, November 24, 2023 from 4-8 pm and on Saturday, November 25, 2023, and after 9:00 am until time of the service at 11:00 am, all at the funeral home.

Bro. Joe Scroggin will officiate the service.
