Mary Elizabeth (Slaughterback) Young

Mary Elizabeth (Slaughterback) Young, 83, of Milltown, Indiana passed from this life on April 27, 2024 at her residence.  Mary was born on June 29, 1940 in Leavenworth, Indiana to the late Guy Henry and Lula (Haycox) Slaughterback.

Mary was a homemaker and a Pentecostal Christian Believer.  She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Paul K. Young on October 21, 2023.

She is survived by her sons, Kevin E. Young (Shelly) of English, Indiana and Steve L. Young (Tracey) of Depauw, Indiana; daughters, Kathy Sullender (Rob) of Montgomery, Indiana, Karen E. Freeberg (Kevin) of New Albany, Indiana, and Judy Davis (Paul) of Corydon, Indiana; brother, George Slaughterback of Taswell, Indiana; sister, Martha Brown of Corydon, Indiana; 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Services will be private.  Interment will be in the Batman Ridge Cemetery near Milltown, Indiana.
