Michael I. Byerly

Michael I. Byerly, 72, of Marengo, Indiana, passed away on May 31, 2026 at his residence.  Michael was born on August 30, 1953 in Corydon, Indiana to the late Wayne E. and Bertha D. (Denton) Byerly.

Michael formerly was a foreman at Snyder Construction and a truck driver and a logger.  Michael was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Corydon, Indiana and enjoyed bicycling, reading, and had a mechanical and inventive mind.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, John W. Byerly, Donald Wayne “Pete” Byerly, and Tommy Joe Byerly.

He is survived by his brother, Kevin D. Byerly; sisters, Brenda Faulkenburg and Glenda M. Bell; and numerous nieces and nephews.

 A memorial service will be on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home, 306 Spring Street, Milltown, Indiana  47140.

Visitation will begin at 12:00 noon until time of the service at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, at the funeral home.
