Michael Duane Harris, 65, born on February 6, 1958 in Salem, Indiana and continued his spiritual journey on December 25, 2023, at the University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.
Mike is survived by his father, Junior; a daughter, Bethany (Joe); sisters: Myra (Lee) and Lisa; a brother, Roy (Anita); cherished nieces and nephews, Jordon, Candice (Jeff), Chris (Gabrielle), Jesse (Teresa), Jason (Tommi), and several great nieces and nephews, including Avelyn, Kylie, and Nolan. He now joins his beloved mother in eternal peace.
A passionate musician and multi-instrumentalist, Mike shared his love for music through teaching and connecting with others. An artist at heart, he never met a stranger and could engage in conversations on any topic. A true jack of all trades, Mike was exceptionally well-read, leaving a lasting impression on those who had the privilege of knowing him.
His unique spirit, warmth, and the ability to make everyone feel special earned him the title of the greatest uncle, brother, and friend one could ask for. Mike will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all, leaving a legacy of love, laughter, and a genuine connection with those around him. He will live in our hearts forever.
Cremation was chosen and a celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana is entrusted with the arrangements.
