Mikel Sizemore

Mikel Sizemore, 62, of New Salisbury, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday , August 27, 2025, at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, Indiana.

He was born on August 25, 1963, in Manchester, Kentucky, to the late Jimmy and Vernice (Roberts) Sizemore. Mikel was a dedicated truck driver for more than 30 years, known for his strong work ethic and commitment to providing for his family.

Mikel is survived by his son, Nathan Sizemore (Kathryn); his daughter, Erin Sizemore (Matt); and his sisters, Brenda Kemp, Margaret Sizemore, and Lisa Devore. He will also be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Brooklin Sizemore and Raelin Riley, along with extended family and friends. Mikel was proceeded in death by his brother Gary Sizemore.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at Brown-Newkirk Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana, with burial to follow at Central Barren Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home
