Mona K. (Eppley) Jones

Mona K. (Eppley) Jones, 92, of Leavenworth, Indiana formerly of Depauw, Indiana passed from this life on April 10, 2026 at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon, Indiana.  Mona was born on February 8, 1934 in Ft. Wayne, Indiana to the late David Elmer and Faye Marie (Breeden) Waltam.

Mona was a former caretaker for the former Turley’s Nursing Home in New Albany, Indiana.  She was a Christian believer in the Lord and served her faith in the Methodist Church.

She is survived by her son Roy D. Brown Sr. of English, Indiana and grandsons, Roy D. Brown Jr. and Steven Norman Brown; and two great-grandsons, Kendall and Jordan Brown.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Barbara Ann Allen.

Graveside services will be on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. E.D.T at the Mather’s Chapel Cemetery near English, Indiana.
