Norma V. (Saltsgaver) Draper, 95, of Sulphur, Indiana died on September 20, 2021 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. Norma was born on April 19, 1926 in Milltown, Indiana to the late Roscoe C. and Mamie E. (Bye) Saltsgaver.
Norma was a former cook for the Overlook Restaurant in Leavenworth, Indiana, a member of the Word of Life Church in Evansville, Indiana, enjoyed travelling with her grandchildren and loved her dog, Puddles.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Floyd C. Draper; son, Earl Lee Draper; daughter, Donna Johnson; brothers, Earl Ray and Eugene Saltsgaver; sister, Ruth Barrentine; and a grandchild, Justin Marshall.
She is survived by her sons: Carl E. Draper (Brenda) of Sulphur, Indiana and Richard D. Draper (Donna) of Zephyr Hills, Florida; daughter, Doris J. Marshall (Robert) of Evansville, Indiana; brothers, Paul Saltsgaver and Don Saltsgaver; sisters, Mary Patrick, Alma Medley, Rheva Roggenkamp, and Alice Lutz; grandchildren: Derek, Jenny, Angela, Julie, Audra, and Jeran.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Leavenworth Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be on Saturday, September 25, 2021 from 11:00 am until time of the service at 1:00 p.m., at the funeral home.
Bro. Garry Lanham will officiate the service.
