Patricia S. (McCoy) Allen

Patricia S. (McCoy) Allen, 76, of Corydon, Indiana died on February 28, 2022 at Todd-Dickey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Leavenworth, Indiana.  She was born on January 3, 1946 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Rufus W. and Dorothy K. (Seng) McCoy.

She was a homemaker and a former housekeeper at Baymont Inn.  She was a member of the Marengo Christian Church and enjoyed spending time with family.  She enjoyed traveling, dancing, coloring, going to yard sales, walking, playing cards, and going shopping with her daughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers:  Bob, John, Albert, and Jimmy McCoy; and sisters:  Betsy Edwards and Katherine (Toodles) Eastridge.

She was survived by her husband, Seth Joe Allen; sons:  Joseph D. Allen (Janie) of West Baden, Indiana and John E. Allen (Gloria) of Tell City, Indiana; daughter, Judy Morris (Gerald) of Marengo, Indiana; brother, Fred McCoy (Jean) of Louisville, Kentucky; sister, Marilyn Byerly (Cecil) of Ft. Worth, Texas; grandchildren:  Samantha White (Mike), Devin Main, Valerie Lester, Ty and Jared Guillaume, Brian and Chad Nugent; and great-granddaughters, Maggie and Lily White.

Funeral services will be on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at 11:00 am at the Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana.  Interment will follow in the El Bethel Cemetery near Milltown, Indiana.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 from 4-8 pm and after 9:00 am until time of the service at 11:00 am, all at the funeral home.

Bro. Bruce Hawkins will officiate the service.
