Patricia A. Dearborn, 72, of Marengo, Indiana, passed away peacefully at her home in Marengo, Indiana, on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on November 25, 1952, in Corydon, Indiana, to Delores McDonald and Harold Seacat. Patricia dedicated 33 years of her life as the office manager for Dr. John Click, where she was known for her kindness, organization, and loyalty. She was a devoted member of Community Worship Chapel in Marengo and lived her life in faith and love for her family.
Patricia was preceded in death by her dear husband, Roy S. Dearborn siblings, Debra Seacat, Tammy Bernardi, Joseph McDonald, and Samuel McDonald.
She is survived by her children: James Dearborn of Ray City, Georgia; Gabriel Talley (Shelbi) of Marengo, Indiana; Jennifer Devore of Marengo, Indiana; Contessa Dearborn of Jeffersonville, Indiana; Doris Crawford (Glen) of Depauw, Indiana; Laura Kocur (John) of Burns, Tennessee; Dr. Angella Talley (Dennis) of Leavenworth, Indiana; and Brandy Hopkins (Dan) of Tell City, Indiana and her brother, Harold Seacat, Jr. of Marengo, Indiana
Patricia’s legacy continues through her beloved grandchildren: Roy, Jasmyne, Tia, Kaylee, Randall, Shaeylee, Noah, Joshua, Eden, Alex, Shane, Brian, Shyla, Kayla, and Kyle. She was also blessed with great-grandchildren: Zayden, Zander, Zadryl, Daxton, Theo, Leia, Elijah, Ruby, Colton, Oaklyn, Jada, and Athena.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 31st 2025 at the Brown Newkirk funeral home in Milltown,Indiana with burial to follow at Cook-Tucker Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Sunday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
