Patty Jo (Milchling) Goldman

Patty Jo (Milchling) Goldman, 72, of Marengo, Indiana formerly of Leavenworth, Indiana passed from this life on March 18, 2026 at her home.  Patty was born on February 20, 1954 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Edgar Joseph and Ruby Jane (Wilson) Milchling.

Patty was a former welder for Tower Automotive and a member of the Little Mission Church near Hardinsburg, Indiana.  Patty enjoyed gardening and canning what she harvested.  She manufactured goat milk soap and enjoyed going to flea markets.

Patty was preceded in death by her parents and a son-in-law, Larry Young Jr.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Loyd Goldman; son, Jeremy C. Goldman (Crystal) of Fredonia; daughters, Catina E. Young of Fredonia and Cristy L. Thone (Dustin) of Carefree, Indiana; brothers, Michael J. Milchling (Nina) of Georgetown, Indiana, Lonny J. Milchling of Warren, Ohio, and Daniel J. Milchling (Cindy) of English, Indiana; sisters, Mary J. Darnell of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee and Tammy J. Abel (Bill) of Sulphur, Indiana; grandchildren, Tyler Young (Taylor), Lucas Goldman (Jasmine), Elisa Griggs (Adan), Landon Jenkins, Hunter Jenkins, Kinsey Thone, Bexley Thone; and 5 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be on Sunday, March 22, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home, 306 Spring Street, Milltown, Indiana  47145.  Interment will follow in the Fredonia Cemetery.  

Visitation will be on Saturday, March 21, 2026 from 4-8 p.m. and on Sunday, March 22, 2026, after 11:00 a.m. until time of the service at 2:00 p.m., all at the funeral home.

Bro. George Key will officiate the service.
