Paul J. Bary, 93, of Depauw, Indiana passed away on Monday, April 28, 2025 at Baptist Health- Floyd, New Albany, Indiana. Paul was a loving husband and father, born on September 25, 1931 in Frenchtown, Indiana to the late August and Lene (Lincoln) Bary.
He was drafted in July 1952 into the Army, during the Korean Conflict. He was sent to Germany then to France. In 1954 he was discharged. He then went to work for Brock Electric. He was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church and Local #369.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Helen Winn Bary; sons, Paul Eugene Bary and Delbert J. Bary; brothers, Robert K. Bary, Ralph E. “Bud” Bary, Carl “Eldon” Bary and Larry “Wayne” Bary.
Left to cherish his memory are sons, David Bary and Don Bary (Terri) both of Depauw, Indiana; daughters, Paula Chenault (Ronnie) of Danville, Kentucky and Donna Bary of Depauw, Indiana; sisters, Wanda McMonigle of Lanesville, Indiana, Naomi Jacobi and Mary Senn both of Corydon, Indiana; 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
The funeral mass will be on Friday, May 2, 2025, with Father Aaron Pfaff officiating at 11:00 a.m. at St. Bernard Catholic Church, Frenchtown, Indiana. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be on Thursday, May 1, 2025 from 3-8 p.m. and after 9:00 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. on Friday, May 2, 2025, all at the Brown Funeral Home, 306 Spring Street, Milltown, Indiana.
