Peggy A. (Knight) Nichol

Peggy A. (Knight) Nichol, 89, of English, Indiana passed from this life on May 19, 2026 at her residence.  Peggy was born on May 3, 1937 in East St. Louis, Illinois to the late Samuel O. and Maude Lucille (Jones) Knight.

Peggy was a former employee of Community Coordinated Club Care ( 4-C’s)  for 20 years and was a tax preparer for several years.  Peggy formerly attended the El Bethel Baptist Church.  She enjoyed sewing, steamboat travels, traveling, gardening, flowers, and shopping.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Barry Nichol; a daughter, Marilyn A. May; a granddaughter, Jennifer J. Knight and her sister, Mary E. Knight..

She is survived by a great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Knight and great-great-grandchildren, Maddox, Melody, and Mason.

Funeral services will be on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. until time of the service at 1:00 p.m., at the funeral home.

Interment will follow in the El Bethel Cemetery.

Bro. Jim Smith will officiate the service.
