Raymond L. Beasley

Raymond L. Beasley, 84, of English, Indiana passed from this life on April 30, 2025 at Harrison Springs Healthcare Campus in Corydon, Indiana.  Raymond was born on January 27, 1941 in Grantsburg, Indiana to the late George W. and Naomi C. (Woolems) Beasley.  

Raymond was an owner/operator of Beasley Saw Mill and a farmer.  Raymond was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, having served at Lyndon B. Johnson’s Ranch and at Cape Lisburne, Alaska.  He was a member of the English Wesleyan Church and enjoyed raising mules and collecting vintage cars.  He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Raymond is survived by his wife of 40 years, Patricia L. (Cook) Beasley; son, Rodney L. Beasley (Spring); daughters, Donna Daugherty Barrow (Kevin), De Anna Daugherty Eastridge (Shannon), and Sharon Daugherty Sprinkle (James); grandchildren:  Justin, Reggi, Ryan, Sean, Jon, Joe, Alex, Shaifer, Adam, and Shayna; and 8 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be on Monday, May 5, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. EDT at the Brown Funeral Home, 306 Spring Street, Milltown, Indiana  47145.  Interment will follow in the Mt. Sterling Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Sunday, May 4, 2025 from 3-8 p.m. and after 9:00 a.m. until time of the service at 11:00 a.m. EDT, all at the funeral home.

Rev. Philo Jones and Bro. Eric Satterfield will officiate the service.

Pallbearers will be Justin Lynton, Reggi Beasley, Ryan Lynton, Jon Barrown, Joe Barrow, Sean Eastridge, Alex and Adam Beasley, Forrest Bonin, and Dakota Novak.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Crawford County Veterans Memorial fund.
