Raymond D. Pavey, 82, of Hardinsburg, Indiana died on November 30, 2022 at Baptist Health- Floyd. Raymond was born on November 4, 1940 in Hardinsburg, Indiana to the late Harrington G. and Clara Alice (Ridener) Pavey.
Raymond was a former truck driver for Pavco, Reliable Express, and Navajo, a farmer and loved working on small engines. He was a member of the Little Mission Church near Hardinsburg, Indiana.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Alice Rae (Sanders) Pavey; son, James Pavey; brothers, Lee, Nolan William, James, Arthur, Harold Ray, Stanley, and Clarence Delbert Pavey; sisters, Mary Stucker and Martha Harris.
He is survived by sons, Donnie (Sarah), Gary (Patty), Jerry "Charlie" (Bonnie), Hainc Pavey (Jennifer), Andrew Scott, and Anthony “Snapper” Pavey (Kristy); daughters, Katherine Wynona Ball, Sandy Pavey, and Mary Louise Clark (Arthur); grandchildren: Christina Hart, Raymond Delano (RD) Pavey, Jeremy D. Pavey, Amanda Fields, Danielle Smith, Charlie Pavey, Ashley J. Pruitt, Cheyanne Chandler, Hannah Marie Tinkle, Hunter Pavey, Brittney S. Pavey, Karli Denny, Connor Denny, Caleb Pavey, Penelope Pavey, Owen Pavey Shelby and Maegan Clark, and Levi Pavey; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at 1:00 pm at the Little Mission Church. Interment will follow in the Hardinsburg Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am until time of the service at 1:00 am, at the church.
Bro. George Key will officiate the service.
