Rebecca Ann Hopper, 74, of Marengo, Indiana departed this life to earn her heavenly reward on January 2, 2025 at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital, Salem, Indiana. She was born on June 6, 1950 in Klamath Falls, Oregon to the late David Boyd Hopper and Wanda Mae (Wall) Hopkins.
Ann resided in Oregon until 1966, when she and her family moved to Orleans, Indiana. She was a good Christian and loved her church deeply. She loved her family and friends. She moved to English with her grandparents, where she lived for several years and then moved to Marengo, Indiana.
Ann formerly worked at Older Americans and Accent Marketing in New Albany, Indiana. She attended the Marengo Pilgrim Holiness Church.
She leaves behind two brothers, Daniel Hopper of Orleans, Indiana and Steve Hopper of Pekin, Indiana; two sisters, Myra Flint of Plainfield, Indiana and Barbara Hibdon of French Lick, Indiana; her step-mother, Mary Lou Hopper of Pekin, Indiana; several nieces and nephews; and a uncle, Richard Hopper.
She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, and three brothers, Jim, Jerry, and John Hopper.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Bethel Cemetery near Orleans, Indiana.
Visitation will be on Saturday, January 4, 2025, after 11:00 a.m. until time of the service at 1:00 p.m., at the funeral home.
