Richard I. Hensley

Richard I. Hensley, 71, of Milltown, Indiana died December 8, 2020 at Baptist Health- Floyd in New Albany, Indiana.  He was born on November 8, 1949 in Harrison County, Indiana to the late Perry and Cora Mae (White) Hall.

He was a former lead man for Thorn Orwick in Corydon, Indiana and was a member of Hardinsburg Fellowship Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife:  Marcella D. (Flener) Hensley of Milltown, Indiana; sons:  P. Ed Hensley of Crawfordsville, Indiana and Dillon J. Hensley of Milltown, Indiana; daughter:  Dee Dee Stroud of Marengo, Indiana; brothers:  Roger Hensley of Laconia, Indiana and Ivan Nay of New Albany, Indiana; sister, Katherine Benningfield of Corydon, Indiana; and grandchildren:  Madeline and Ian Hensley, Dawson and and Peyton Stroud, Aiden and Cohen Ray.

Funeral services will be on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at the Fellowship Baptist Church, 304 W. Cheshire Lane, Hardinsburg, Indiana  47125.  Interment will follow at the Union Chapel Cemetery near Milltown, Indiana.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am until time of the service at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at the Fellowship Baptist Church.

Bro. Bill McCrary will officiate the service.
