Rita S. (Johnson) Noble

Rita S. (Johnson) Noble, 71, of Depauw, Indiana died at her residence on March 30, 2025 with her family surrounding her.  She was born on August 10, 1953 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Charles C. and Dorothy F. (Calvert) Johnson.  She married Donnie Noble on April 3, 1982.

Rita was a 1973 graduate of North Harrison High School and attended Spencerian College for computer programming. 

Rita was a homemaker, while doing the things she loved, such as cooking, baking, and canning.  She also enjoyed sewing, coloring, fishing, and farming, but most of all enjoyed spending time and spoiling her grandchildren.

Rita was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Lisa K. Johnson.

She is survived by her husband, Donnie Noble; daughters, Amanda S. Wilson and her husband, Robert of Elizabeth, Indiana and Alicia D. Goller and her husband, Thomas of Corydon, Indiana; brother, Richard C. Johnson of Depauw, Indiana; sisters, Carolyn F. Backherms of Dale, Indiana, and Sherry Atwood of Corydon, Indiana; grandchildren, Madison E. Rogers (Josiah), Addalynn M. Wilson, Logan C. Goller, Jackson P. Goller, and Kinsley G. Goller; and numerous bonus children who loved her dearly.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home, 306 Spring Street, Milltown, Indiana  47145.  Interment will follow in the Thompson Chapel Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Friday, April 4, 2025 from 4-8 p.m. and after 9:00 a.m. until time of the service at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 5, 2025, all at the funeral home.

Bro. Arthur Amburgey will officiate the service.
