Robert Floyd Parr

Robert Floyd Parr, 86, of Leavenworth, Indiana passed from this life on May 14, 2024 at his residence.  He was born on March 4, 1938 in Alton, Indiana to the late Ralph E. and Virginia Elizabeth (Kemp) Parr.

Robert was a retired loader and operator for the Mulzer Quarry.  He was a member of the Alton First Baptist Church, Alton American Legion- Ralph E. Parr Post #133.  He loved fishing and hunting.

Robert is survived by his wife, Mae Bell (Peckinpaugh) Parr of Alton, Indiana; son, Steven D. Parr (Diann) of Alton, Indiana; daughter, Gale Parr Smith (Lamar) of Wolfcreek, Kentucky; sister, Bonnie Sue Bullington of Leavenworth, Indiana; grandchildren:  Kristin Barger, Ashley Melloy, Kara Canary, and Kayla Fischer and great-grandchildren, Dalton Barger, Grant Melloy, Cassie Canary, River Fischer, and Creek Fischer.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Donald R. Parr.

Cremation was chosen and there will be no services.

Memorial contributions can be given to the Flower Point Cemetery, 14425 S. Alton Road, Leavenworth, Indiana  47137.
