Roger L. Deich

Roger L. Deich, 64, of Celestine, Indiana passed from this life on February 8, 2025 at IU Health- Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.  Roger was born on January 31, 1961 in Eckerty, Indiana to Lola Allen Deich and the late LeRoy Deich.

Roger was a former machinist for Kimball Manufacturing.  He was a member of the Celestine Community Club, St. Isadore Catholic Church, and enjoyed hunting and collecting guns.

He was preceded in death by his father; a brother, Robert Deich; and grandparents:  Levi and Gladys Deich and Torrence and Faye Allen.

He is survived by his mother, Lola Allen Deich of Eckerty, Indiana; wife, Sandra K. Deich of Celestine, Indiana; sons, Shawn M. Deich (Tina Marie) of Taswell, Indiana, Dustan L. Deich of Celestine, Indiana, and Jamie R. Deich of Eckerty, Indiana; daugther, Tori L. Deich of Celestine, Indiana; sisters, Annette Gilliland and Deborah Sollman- both of English, Indiana; and grandchildren, Tasha Chapman and Gregory Head.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Cremation was chosen at Roger’s request.

Memorial contributions can be made to Department of Natural Resources for the preservation of Eagles.
