Roger Lowe Obituary

Roger Ray Lowe, 65, of Depauw, Indiana died on April 25, 2024 at his residence.  Roger was born on June 24, 1958 in Corydon, Indiana to Loice (Bolen) Wood and the late George G. Lowe Jr.

 

Roger was a former technician for Simplex and enjoyed watching sports, especially football, Nascar, and being a handyman.  Roger grew up in Middletown, Indiana and graduated from Shenandoah High School.  He moved to Stone Mountain, Georgia and graduated from Devry Institute of Technology in Decatur, Georgia.  He was on the Deans list and was third in his class, all while working full time at Scientific Atlanta.  He then moved to Southern Indiana to be near family.  He helped take care of his stepfather, Steve Wood and done an excellent job taking care of his mother, Loice Wood, as well.

He was a member of Sixth Street Christian Church in Middletown, Indiana.  

 

He is survived by his mother, Loice Bolen Wood of Depauw, Indiana and sisters, Barbara A. Warren of Pendergrass, Georgia and Michelle J. Lowe of Milltown, Indiana; niece, Valerie A. Patrick of Stone Mountain, Georgia; nephew, Vincent J. Patrick of Hamilton, Ohio; and his beloved cat, Kitty who misses him so much.

 

He was preceded in death by his father, George G. Lowe Jr. and his maternal grandparents Gardner and Jane Bolen of Depauw, Indiana and paternal grandparents George G. Lowe Sr. and Mary Alice Byerly of Corydon, Indiana.

 

Cremation was chosen and there will be no services at this time.

 

Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana is entrusted with the arrangements.
