Russell L. Pate, Jr.

Russell L. Pate Jr., 60, of New Salisbury, Indiana died on November 25, 2023 at Norton Healthcare, Louisville, Kentucky.  Russell was born on December 10, 1962 in Corydon, Indiana to the late Russell L. Pate Sr. and Carolyn Lang.

Russell was a former construction and drywall laborer and enjoyed riding motorcycles.

Russell was preceded in death by his father, Russell L. Pate Sr.; grandmother, Pauline Lange; and uncles, Robert and Paul Pate.

Russell is survived by his mother, Carolyn Lang of Depauw, Indiana; wife, Stephanie S. (Cozart) Pate of New Salisbury, Indiana; sons:  Dustin L. Pate of Ramsey, Indiana, Justin P. Pate of Jeffersonville, Indiana, Aaron E. Pavey of Lanesville, Indiana, and Gunner L. Pate of New Salisbury, Indiana; a daughter, Alisha K. Hattabaugh of Corydon, Indiana; brother, Thomas Berkenmeyer of Ramsey, Indiana; sisters:  Theresa Taylor of Corydon, Indiana, Cindy Stacey of Clarksville, Indiana, and Tonya Berkenmeyer of Ramsey, Indiana; grandchildren:  Karley and Nolan Pate, Lilly Pate, Anaya Pate, Elizabeth Pavey, Tanner Pavey, and Ayden Hattabaugh.

Funeral services will be on Friday, December 1, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana.  

Visitation will be on Friday, December 1, 2023 from 11:00 am until time of the service at 1:00 p.m., at the funeral home.

Bro. Gary Valentine will officiate the service.
