Ruth Ellen (Balmer) Fetz

Ruth Ellen (Balmer) Fetz, 84, of Milltown, Indiana passed from this life to receive her heavenly home on April 15, 2021 at the Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville, Kentucky.  She was born on October 24, 1936 in Milltown, Indiana to the late Christian M. and Stella M. (Walts) Balmer.

Ruth was a homemaker and was a loving wife, sister, aunt, and mother to all.  Ruth loved working in her yard and around her house, keeping everything clean and tidy.  Ruth was a devoted member of the Pilot Knob United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Joe Balmer; sisters:  Louise Sheppard, Thelma Sgouros, and Dorothy Kiley.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Kenneth Norman Fetz of Milltown, Indiana; step-son, Kenneth Steve Fetz of Independence, Missouri; sister, Marie Johnson of Louisville, Kentucky; 4 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Ruth will be on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at 1:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana.  Interment will follow in the Pilot Knob Cemetery near Milltown, Indiana.

Visitation will be on Monday, April 19, 2021 from 4-8 pm and after 9:00 am until time of the service at 1:00 pm on Tueday, all at the funeral home.

Bro. Tim Jellison will officiate the service.
