Ruth E. (Grismer) Phelps

Ruth E. (Grismer) Phelps, 85, of Milltown, Indiana passed from this life on March 27, 2026 at Norton Clark Hospital in Jeffersonville, Indiana.  Ruth was born on August 4, 1940 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Leonard E. and Ruth V. (Brutcher) Grismer.

Ruth was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting, gardening, painting, and reading Christian based books.

She is survived by her son, Jimmie Sanders; daughters, Vickie Morris (Gary), Kathy Sanders, and Lori Vincent (Dean); sister, Sue Jackson (Kennard); grandchildren, Doug and Brian Morris, James Stice, Beth Williams, Kevin, Jenna, and Nolan Sanders, and Jimmie Vincent; and several great-grandchildren.

Cremation was chosen and a celebration of life will be a later date.

Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana is entrusted with the arrangements.
