Ruth M. (Wigman) Small

Ruth M. “Ruthie” (Wigman) Small,  of Leavenworth, Indiana passed from this life on March 22, 2026 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.  Ruthie was born on October 3, 1971 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Timothy Raymond and Doris Wigman.

Ruthie was a former building maintenance facilitator for the Crawford County School Corporation.  She was a follower of Christ and enjoyed camping, drawing, and coloring.  She was also a lover of jewelry and loved being Mamaw to her two granddaughters.

She is survived by her husband, James Wesley Small; sons, Timothy Ryan Davis of Palmyra, Indiana and Patrick Small of Madison, Wisconsin; daughter, Leslie Johnson (Brian) of Peachtree, Georgia; sister, Stephanie Wigman of Louisville, Kentucky; and grandchildren, Aubrey Davis and Emma Johnson.

Funeral services will be on Thursday, March 26, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana.  Interment will follow in the El Bethel Cemetery near Milltown, Indiana.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 from 4-8 p.m. and after 10:00 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m on Thursday, all at the funeral home.

Bro. Bobby Kelly will officiate the funeral service.

Memorial contributions may be given to Kosair for Kids and/or St. Judes Children’s Research Hospital.
