Sandra Diane Arnold, 82, of Leavenworth, Indiana, passed away on February 11, 2025, at Todd-Dickey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Leavenworth, Indiana. Sandra was born on December 4, 1942, in Barlow, Kentucky, to the late James Roy and Mildred Goforth. She grew up in Nashville, Tennessee, where she attended East High School before continuing her education at the University of Tennessee and Middle Tennessee State University.
Throughout her life, Sandra held many jobs, including store manager in retail, secretary at a law firm, and secretary for an eye doctor. In her retirement, she enjoyed working as a substitute teacher, finding joy in helping students learn and grow.
Sandra had many talents, but above of all, she cherished the time spent with her family. Whether it was with her children, grandchildren, or great-grandchildren, she found her greatest happiness in their company. She also loved traveling, exploring the countryside, and making memories with her beloved husband.
She is survived by her husband, Lloyd Arnold Sr.; her daughter, Alisha Gibson (Brian) of Newburgh, Indiana; her son, Lloyd Arnold Jr. (Jody) of Leavenworth, Indiana. She was a loving grandmother to Tristan Arnold of St. Croix, Taten Arnold of Plainfield, Trenton Arnold of Leavenworth, Indiana, Tanner Arnold of Leavenworth, Indiana, Ashley Jager (Brian) of Newburgh, Mitchel Gibson of St. John, Florida, Brittany Powell (Hunter) of Chandler, Indiana, and Mackenzie Gibson of Newburgh. Sandra was also blessed with two great-grandchildren, Espn Jager and Waylon Powell. She is also survived by her sister, Sheryl Bracey (Fred) of Hendersonville, Tennessee.
Funeral services will be held on February 15, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana, with Bro. Mike Gillespie officiating. Visitation will take place on the same day from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at the funeral home.
Sandra will be deeply missed by her family and friends, but her love, kindness, and cherished memories will remain in their hearts forever.
