Shauncae N. (Bigham) Jones

Shauncae Nicole (Bigham) Jones born on October 14, 1991 entered Heavens gates with her son Sutton Jones cradled in her loving arms on January 1, 2023 at Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.

Shauncae and Sutton are survived by their devoted husband and father, Spencer Jones of English, Indiana.  Shauncae’s mother and grandmother, Nikki Allen Bigham of English, Indiana.  Father-in-law and mother-in-law and grandparents, Bobby and Stanci Jones of Jeffersonville, Indiana.  Grandmother, Sue Eastridge Allen of Eckerty, Indiana.  Uncle, Shane Allen of Eckerty, Indiana. Aunt, Kristi Bigham Primas of Troy, Illinois.  Great uncle, David Eastridge of Huntingburg, Indiana.  Great aunt, Millie Eastridge of Eckerty, Indiana.  Sister-in-law, Paige Kleehamer (Andrew) of Sellersburg, Indiana.  Brother-in-law, Trevor Jones of Jeffersonville, Indiana.  Nieces, cousins, relatives, close friends, and cherished pets.  Shauncae and Sutton are preceded in death by her father, Bryan Bigham (2009), grandfather, James Allen (1983), and uncle, James Scott Allen (2014).

Shauncae was an active member of the Highfill Chapel General Baptist Church of Taswell, Indiana.  Shauncae graduated from Crawford County High School in 2010 and Indiana University Southeast with her degree in Social Work in 2015.  Shauncae married the love of her life, Spencer Jones in 2017.  Her dedication to helping the children of Crawford County was reflected in her passion for her career as a Family Case Manager with the Department of Child Services.

Shauncae’s quiet strength and radiant smile were infectious.  Those who knew her best, knew her for her quick, dry humor, her love for her family, children, and dogs.  Her affection for expensive purses, shoes, and all things UofL.

A memorial fund to help the children of Crawford County has been established.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the “Shauncae and Sutton Jones Memorial Fund” , through First Savings Bank.

Funeral services will be on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at 11:00 am at the Highfill Chapel General Baptist Church, Taswell, Indiana.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 from 3 to 8 pm and after 9:00 am until time of the service on Thursday, all at the Highfill Chapel General Baptist Church.
