Sherry L. (Sheppard) Berry

Sherry Lynn Berry, 66, of Milltown, Indiana passed away Friday, January 24, 2025 at Harrison Healthcare in Corydon, Indiana.  Sherry was born August 23, 1959 to the late George “Barney” Sheppard and Louise (Balmer) Sheppard in New Castle, Indiana.  She married William “Willie” Berry on July 6, 1985 and lived happily together until his death on May 21, 2021.

Sherry was a very happy, cheerful lady who never met a stranger.  She brought happiness and joy to all.  She loved her family and her various dogs very much.  Sherry previously worked as a shoe trimmer at Spring Valley Shoe Corporation in Paoli, Indiana, a lead person for Robinson-Nugent in New Albany, Indiana and her final job was at Jasper Engines and Transmissions at Carefree, Indiana.  She was a member of the former Pilot Knob United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William “Willie” Berry; brother, Robert “Bobby” Sheppard; sister, Judy Sheppard; an infant son, Travis; and a special Uncle and Aunt, Norman and Ruth Fetz.  

She is survived by an aunt, Marie Johnson and several cousins.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana.  Interment will follow in the Pilot Knob Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m., on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at the funeral home.

Bro. Tim Jellison will officiate the service.
