Tammy S. (Lucas) Vanlaningham

Tammy S. (Lucas) Vanlaningham, 57, of Milltown, Indiana passed from this life on August 10, 2022 at Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.  Tammy was born on March 22, 1965 in Corydon, Indiana to Forrest Lucas and Sharon (Mills) Wurst.

Tammy was a former shipping supervisor at Lucas Oil and former EMT with Newkirk Ambulance and Harrison County Hospital.  She was a former first responder with the Milltown Fire Department and was an avid mushroom hunter.

She was preceded in death by her step-father, Mike Wurst; brother, Gregory O. Lucas; nephew, Jacob Lucas; and a niece, Ariel Lucas.

She is survived by her father and step-mother, Forrest and Charlotte Lucas of Carmel, Indiana; mother, Sharon Wurst of Milltown, Indiana; husband, Ronnie Vanlaningham of Milltown, Indiana; daughters, Samantha E. Vanlaningham Pace (Chaz) of Depauw, Indiana and Cheyenne M. Lang (Hunter) of Taswell, Indiana; brothers, Dwayne Lucas of Cross Timbers, Missouri, Mike Lucas of Milltown, Indiana, Morgan Lucas of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Bobby Lucas of Missouri; sister, Kathy Lucas Bowling of Salem, Indiana; her grandson, Colt O. Lang; and her fur baby, Lilly.

Funeral services will be on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at the Milltown Christian Church.  Interment will follow in the Union Chapel Cemetery near Milltown, Indiana.

Visitation will be on Monday, August 15, 2022 from 2-8 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana and on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service at 1:00 p.m., at the Milltown Christian Church.

Bro. Chris Brown will officiate the service.
