Tommy Jo Byerly

Tommy Jo Byerly, 72, of Marengo, Indiana died on October 22, 2023 at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon, Indiana.  Tommy Jo was born on August 10, 1951 near Milltown, Indiana to the late Wayne E. and Bertha (Denton) Byerly.

He was sawmill owner/operator and loved to restore antique cars and trucks.  He enjoyed going to tractor shows.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Donald “Pete” Byerly and a grandson, Norman Faulkenburg.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth Ann (Cole) Byerly; sons:  Wayne A., Tony R., Jeremy Andrew, and Carson Byerly, Jamie and Bill Raines; a daughter, Stephanie Rogers; brothers, Mike, Johnny, and Kevin Byerly; sisters, Brenda Faulkenburg and Glenda Bell; and grandchildren:  Lillie Byerly, Cohen Comstock, Willow Raines, Willie Raines, Sierra Raines and Addison Raines.

Funeral services will be on Thursday, October 26, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana.  Interment will follow in the Leavenworth Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service at 1:00 p.m., at the funeral home.

Bro. Bruce Hawkins will officiate the service.

Memorial contributions, In lieu of flowers, can be made to the Brown Funeral Home to help with the cost of the funeral expenses.
