WIlma Mae (Simon) Combs

Wilma Mae (Simon) Combs, 80, of Depauw, Indiana, passed from this life on September 23, 2025 at her residence.  Wilma was born on November 4, 1944 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Albert and Margie (Atkins) Simon.

She was a homemaker and a member of the St. Bernard Catholic Church in Frenchtown, Indiana.  She enjoyed cooking, gardening, canning, and loved her animals.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bernard W. Combs; and siblings, Maurice Simon, Edward Simon, and Frank Simon.

She is survived by her daughters, Carmen A. Lopez of Marengo, Indiana and Michelle B. Wetzel (Chris) of Depauw, Indiana; sisters, Judy Warner of Virginia and Jo Ann Simon of Celestine, Indiana; grandchildren, Desma Autry, Austin Bary, and Dustin Bary; and great-grandchildren, Kalea Cooper and Addison Bary Wright.

Cremation was chosen according to Wilma’s wishes.

Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana is entrusted with the arrangements.
