Wade Ray Edwards

Wade Ray Edwards, 66, of Depauw, Indiana died on December 3, 2023 at his residence.  Wade was born on August 23, 1957 near Depauw, Indiana to the late Jesse and Ruth (Walker) Edwards.

Wade was a former truck driver for Menke Trucking and was a former United States Air Force Veteran.  He was a member of the Milltown American Legion Post #332.

He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Virgie Faye (Ragland) Edwards; daughters, Tonya Brindley (Damien) and Amanda Jones (Scott); step-children:  Melissa Lang (Mike), Floyd Kenny Schmitt, and Jennifer Gowins; sister, Nettie Bell (Charlie); a brother, David Edwards (Susan); sister-in-law:  Mary Edwards; brother-in-law, Charles Gobel; and several grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Sonnie Edwards; and sisters:  Carlotta Atwood (Charlie), Sharron Pease (Lee), and Jesse Joan Gobel.

Cremation was chosen and no services are scheduled.

Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana is entrusted with the arrangements.
