Walter William Henry Armstrong, 90, of Ramsey, Indiana passed from this life on October 5, 2025 at Robley Rex V.A. Medical Center in Louisville, Kentucky. Bill was born on April 4, 1935 in Ventura, California to Alvin and Jaunita M. (Lorton) Armstrong. He married Jacqueline J. Post on February 5, 1955.
Bill was a mechanic and formerly owned Armstrong Tire and worked for the former Gerdon Auto for 20 years. Bill was of the Catholic Faith and served in the United States Marine Corps and Army Reserves, during Korea.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Dianna L. Armstrong; an infant son and two infant daughters; and a half brother, Lawrence Armstrong.
He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline J. Armstrong; sister, Florence McCarthy of Fayettville, North Carolina; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be on Thursday, October 23, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the Brown Funeral Home, 306 Spring Street, Milltown, Indiana 47145.
Interment will follow in the El Bethel Cemetery near Milltown, Indiana.
Bro. Richard Brown will officiate the service.
