Faye Tamarri, 84, of Indianapolis, IN passed away peacefully at home Friday, May 23, 2025 after a brief illness.Faye was born August 20, 1940, in Indiana, to Roland and Elsie (McClellan) Senn.
She was the prettiest woman to ever come out of Crawford Co, Whiskey Run Township. She was a cheerleader and Prom Queen at Milltown High School. She married Louis Tamarri in 1969, in Tuscola, IL. They raised three children together; Jeff Tamarri, Fred (Kumi Omoto) Tamarri, and Angela (Dustin) Patton.
Faye was a devoted and loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She loved her family beyond measure and especially adored all her grandkids. She was a hard working professional at various places in Indianapolis, like: The American Legion, City of Indianapolis, Cracker Barrel, and Kittles Furniture. She was a proud member of Eastern Star (dues paying since 1958). Despite the challenges of raising three kids as a single-mom she instilled a deep love in her family which will be carried on by future generations. Faye was a wonderful cook and loved to talk and more importantly, laugh. She loved old gospel hymns and country music. Faye had a deep faith and belief in the Lord. Her faith sustained her through the ups and downs of life.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Elsie and Roland Senn; sisters Mildred Senn, Helen Hannah, Dorothy Clark, Betty Denton, Bonnie Allinder; brother James Senn; grandson, Kyle Tamarri; ex-husband Louis Tamarri.
Faye is survived by her sister Shirley Collins; her children, grandchildren; Ashley Tamarri, Jennifer Tamarri, Katie Tamarri, Cole Tamarri, Emma (Skyler) Pumphrey, Jacob Tamarri, Benjamin Patton, and Erin Patton.
Visitation will be at Brown Newkirk Funeral Home, 306 Spring St., Milltown, IN on Tuesday, May 27, from 10AM-11AM. with a funeral service to immediate follow. Interment will follow in the El Bethel Cemetery.
