What a beautiful lady Ms. Shawneen is! Her singing voice always brought a smile to my face and the love she has for our Savior was inspiring! What a gift she gave us this past spring when she sang at Salem Baptist Church Gospel Sing program! We could tell God's presence was with her and how much she wanted to praise Him! Her voice and song brought tears to our eyes - was absolutely beautiful! I look forward to the day when we all will be together again, and together, singing for our Lord!

To the Haynes and Jenkins families,

I met Shawneen at Fort Knox when we worked for the same contractor. Then we worked together in the main office. She was a very dedicated, hard working lady. She had a beautiful voice, a strong will, and a loving heart. I read her posts most everyday and by the love of God, she stayed positive and thankful through all her trials. May she rest in God's eternal light.

A rose grew where all could see sheltered beside a garden wall, and as the days passed swiftly by, it spread its branches, straight and tall...
One day, a beam of light shone through a crevice that had opened wide.
The rose bent gently toward its warmth then passed beyond to the other side...
Now, you who feel its loss, be comforted, the rose blooms there, its beauty
even greater now, nurtured by Gods own loving care.

So sorry to hear of your wife Shawnees passing. She was so sweet when you introduced her to me years ago. I know she will be sadly missed.

Pam
